With the Demo UI docker container running you can launch it by going to localhost:8081 using the chromium-browser running on the pi.

This UI demonstrates using a web page to provide basic control over the room. It allows you to turn the display on and off, change or mute the volume as well as and change inputs. This UI was created with basic HTML and JQuery and can be easily re-created using the web development framework of your choice. At Brigham Young university we use Angular. Hopefully this UI can give you an idea of what you can do with a web interface, a Raspberry Pi and a touchscreen.
