Roles Documentation
The roles determine how the AV-API interacts with device.
Roles

VideoOut |
A device that displays an input (i.e. a display or projector of some kind) |
VideoIn |
A device that can take video inputs (i.e. displays, projectors, videoswitchers etc.) |
AudioIn |
A device that can take in audio from a source |
AudioOut |
A device that outputs audio (i.e. Displays, projectors etc.) |
DSP |
Designates the device as a DSP |
